Spicy Smoked Salmon Pasta

Ingredients:

West Coast meets Eastern flavours.

Serves 2
Ingredients:
Large knob of butter
1 medium onion, thinly sliced
200g dried pasta
1 garlic clove chopped
2 tsp of curry powder
2 tsp of plain flour
100ml of hot water
100g trimmings from the smoked salmon - Cooks Pack
Handful of frozen peas
4 tbsp of crème fraiche

Method:
Melt the butter in a pan and add the thinly sliced onions. Allow to cook until the onions are soft and golden brown. In the meantime, pop your pasta on to cook. Once the onions are cooked add your garlic. Cook for another minute, then mix in your curry powder and plain flour. This will thicken the mixture so add some hot water to thin it out again. At this point add your smoked salmon from the new Summer Isles Foods Cook’s Pack and a generous handful of frozen peas. Cook together for approximately 5 minutes or until the peas are thoroughly cooked through. Add the creme fraiche and warm through again cooking for a little longer until the smoked salmon is completely tender. Drain the pasta then mix it in with the hot Spicy Smoked Salmon sauce and serve. - Enjoy!
